Root Canal Treatment:

Root canals are one of the most common endodontic procedures. This treatment is used to treat inflamed, infected, and dead teeth. The pulp is the live portion of the tooth that extends into the root and nerve endings and tissue. When it is infected, patients may experience pain, swelling, and even total tooth lose if left untreated. Root canal treatment removes the damaged part of the tooth and infected pulp. The canal is then cleaned, disinfected, filled and sealed. The organic portion of the tooth may be restored using a cap or crown providing a natural appearance and normal tooth function.
