Bone Graft

When teeth are lost, the bone that used to surround them begin to disappear. Teeth-supporting bone can also be lost due to periodontal (gum) disease. Loss of teeth and bone can cause unwanted effects to your facial features. Loss of bone can also complicate treatment to replace missing teeth.

Bone grafting is a minor surgical procedure. After an incision is made in your gums, grafting material is added to the bone underneath. The graft  will create new strong bone allow implants to be installed stable and securely.
